VIKING LONGBOAT. This is a replica of
a Viking Longboat found at Fjørtoft back in 1940. The replica was built at Gudvangen, out of doors yet, and
this picture was taken recently by Svein Ulvind, an extraordinary photographer from Voss. Ulvind related that the building
took a bit longer then intended for the builder had to answer many tourist queries. Originally, this longboat was used
by Vikings around the year 860.
